We've scheduled our first event!

Our first speed dating event is scheduled for Wednesday, September 30th at 6:30pm. All of the proceeds will go to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mid-Missouri.

Our first event will be held at Quinton's new roof top bar. They were kind enough to donate the space for this charity event, and we are expecting 100 Columbia singles to make it out to the event. Come see who you might meet! Cost will be $20 at the door, and will include appetizers and a drink. The rest will go straight to Big Brothers Big Sisters here in Columbia!

Quinton's roof top (pictured on the left) will allow plenty of seating and tables for the different speed dates. Dress will be casual, and you are encouraged to bring your friends.

Y107 will be broadcasting live from the event. It should last about 1 hour. You will be invited to stay and mingle with other singles and enjoy some great drink specials.

For those of you not familiar with speed dating, it works like this:

• You will meet with 10 people for 5 minutes each. Guys will rotate tables to meet their next date.
• Each person will have a card with the numbers of the other speed daters on it. You can mark on the card if you are interested in meeting with the other person again.
• People who both mark that they would like to meet the other person will be matched up! Only then will your email address be shared with the other speed dater.

So come out, have fun and remember, even if you don't meet that special someone, it is for a great cause. For this event, we are asking that all speed daters be 21 or older.
